I am currently working with a design focused architectural firm based in Sheffield that are looking for and architectural Technologist to join their Student Accommodation team.
Key Responsibilities
- As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and managing construction projects, specifically in the areas of student accommodation
- Using Revit to create detailed plans and drawings
- Working closely with architects and engineers to ensure that the project meets all necessary regulations and standards.
- Oversee the construction process, making sure that everything is being built according to plan and within budget.
Skills
- Proficiency in Revit software
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Experience with project management and budgeting
- Understanding of construction materials and techniques
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles
- Ability to problem-solve and think creatively
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
