Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial heating systems across various client sites in the North West of England. This role requires a proactive and customer-focused individual with a strong technical background in commercial heating solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation:

  • Install commercial heating systems including boilers, radiators, and pipework in accordance with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Ensure all installations comply with relevant safety regulations and codes of practice.

• Maintenance and Repair:

  • Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on commercial heating systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in heating systems promptly and efficiently.
  • Conduct safety inspections and provide necessary certifications for gas appliances.

• Customer Service:

  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their heating requirements and provide professional advice and solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering quality workmanship and responsive service.

• Compliance and Safety:

  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring safe working practices at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including maintenance logs, safety checks, and service reports.
  • Keep up to date with industry regulations and best practices.

• Mobility:

  • Travel to various sites across the North West region, ensuring timely arrival and completion of scheduled jobs.
  • Manage a company-provided vehicle, ensuring it is stocked with necessary tools and equipment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Essential:

  • ACS Commercial Gas qualifications.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial heating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and industry standards.

• Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a mobile role covering multiple sites.
