Estimator
Remuneration: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum plus package (DOE)
Type: Permanent (Monday to Friday) 8.30am - 5pm
Location: Preston
Start Date: ASAP

Due to continual growth, a well-established regional contractor is seeking an organised and ambitious Estimator to join their team permanently and assist in reviewing and assessing tender documentation for new build & refurbishment projects across the region.
This office-based role will require you to work on pre-construction projects. As such, the ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and embrace working in a team.

Responsibilities:
- Develop precise cost estimates and budget plans for construction projects
- Analyse tender documents to identify key risks and potential opportunities.
- Utilize industry-leading estimating software to compile detailed cost assessments.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare and present tender documentation for internal review and client submissions.
- Seamlessly transition project details to the commercial team for smooth project execution.

What we require from you?
- HND qualification or equivalent in construction.
- 3 years' experience as an Estimator for a main/regional contractor
- Strong background in bidding for both refurbishment and new-build projects.
- Driven, ambitious, and eager to take on challenges with a proactive approach.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
- Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and professional in handling confidential commercial matters
