New role - Freelance Quantity Surveyor required - Tier One Main Contractor – Grade 2 listed building education refurbishment – North Lancashire
Tier One Main Contractor – up to £500 per day inside IR35 – this is a fully site based role
Working with one the UKs leading main contractors to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a new opportunity to work on a site in North Lancashire. The project is £25 million in value.

The Quantity Surveyor role

You will manage a range of commercial aspects including procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations and management of subcontract works packages through to final account. This is an ongoing project that’s been going about a year and finishes middle of 2026.
Youll be keen to minimise risk, cost and maximise value by cost checking and analysis of labour, plant and materials.

The candidate
You will have a degree in BSc Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management or equivalent experience/memberships.
You should have construction industry experience with a main contractor in a similar role.
