Summary:
As a Jetting Operative/Drainage Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering both reactive and proactive operations and maintenance plans across the wastewater network. Your role involves inspecting wastewater systems using advanced technological tools such as CCTV to pinpoint the cause and location of blockages. You will be using high-pressure water jetting equipment safely to clear blockages in drains, sewers, and pipelines. Additionally, you will perform low-level fixes and install 'cured-in-place pipe' (CIPP) repairs. Effective communication with customers is essential, as you will need to explain the importance and necessity of the work being carried out in a non-technical manner. You will also utilise mobile IT devices to document findings, including the cause of blockages, remedial works undertaken, and any further actions required.
