Junior Mechanical Engineer (Building Services) – Permanent – Bristol – circa £40-45,000 + benefits

AndersElite are recruiting for a Junior Mechanical Engineer to work on a new build student accommodation site on behalf of a reputable building services contractor within the construction industry.

This is a permanent position, available from late 2024 or January 2025 and will offer a salary, depending on experience of approximately £40,000 -45,000 per annum plus company benefits.

Our client is well established in the UK building services market, particularly across the central belt of England, so this is an exciting opportunity for a recently qualified mechanical / building services professional to join an experienced team and thriving business.

Reporting into Project Manager, the selected candidate will be required to support and oversee mechanical services installations on a new build student accommodation project in Bristol, which is expected to offer up to 2 years work in this location. Due to the longevity of the project our client wishes to recruit someone on a permanent basis.

The junior mechanical engineer will assist on design and project planning, overseeing site installations (mechanical), as well as support cost control and commercial management. You will be based on the site 5 days per week Monday to Friday.

This position is available from December 2024 or January 2025, with applications welcome from candidates who are either immediately available or serving a notice period with their current employer. This role will ideally suit someone who has recently qualified in mechanical services or building services engineering as support and training can be given.

It is advantageous for candidates to possess a degree / HNC in Building Services or any other technical qualifications such as SMSTS / CSCS for construction sites.

If you are interested in this role please send your current CV urgently to Richard Bradley and you will receive a prompt call back should it be deemed of interest to our client.
