A large national main contractor requires a result driven, self-motivated and resourceful M & E pre-construction manager to take lead on tender and framework bids from inception to completion. You will be an integral cog to the continuing commitment to enabling and promoting new sustainable development in Greater Manchester.

The perfect candidate would be presentable, command a good level of communication with multiple stakeholders & possess commendable commercial acumen. Previous experience in healthcare, education or custodial sectors are highly desirable. Proven track record of minimising project cost will be considered favourably.

Brief summary of your role:
• Liaise with Estimators to ensure timeframes are attained for technical and commercial components of the bid.
• Take lead on pre-construction processes, bids, programmes & tenders with support from estimators, design managers & operational leads.
• Cost planning and budget creation skills.
• Manage the supply chain for tender preparation.
• Attend client meetings and provide technical advice and support where required.
• Liaising with Business Development Manager; Estimating team; Operational team; Design Manager and Planning Manager.
• Understanding of M&E systems and able to interpret and understand how each system works on M&E drawings.

What we require from you:
• Degree qualification
• SMSTS
• ASTA and BIM understanding is desirable
