2 x Mid-Weight Interior Designers (6-Month Contract with Extension Potential, outside IR35 via Umbrella)
We are partnering with a multi-disciplinary client involved in a high-profile government framework project, seeking two mid-weight interior designers or architects with interiors experience. This is an exciting opportunity to work on 10 key fit-out projects as part of a long-term 6-year framework, with the initial contract lasting 6 months and a strong potential for extension due to ongoing work in the pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Work: Support the delivery of 10 active fit-out projects, assisting the project lead with design tasks and tender documentation.
• Skills Required: Proficiency in Revit is essential (compliance with government BIM standards), along with a strong understanding of UK building regulations.
• Security Clearance: Candidates will need to obtain BPSS clearance (covered by the employer if not already held).
• Creative Contribution: Produce high-quality design deliverables, including drawings, models, and material/mood boards.
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience in interiors or architectural design, ideally with 4-5 years of industry experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to integrate design with architecture.
• A proactive, organised, and flexible approach to working under tight deadlines.
Summary:
• Be part of a dynamic government project with potential for contract extension.
• Fast-track onboarding as the client is looking to hire immediately.
• Long-term career growth opportunities within a well-established team.
