Anderselite are recruiting on behalf of a principal contractor for a Project Manager with previous experience in heavy civils, water or the rail industries. The Project manager will be working on the £139M Thames Water framework, high value proactive and reactive emergency repairs on both the gravity and pressurised wastewater network across the Thames Water Utilities operations area.

Rate: £500 - £600 umbrella (inside IR35)

Experience:
Heavy civils in the water or rail industry
Proficient in using P6 and office suite

Confined space trained Lifting appointed person is a benefit
Essential
Extensive experience of managing projects within a civils/water environment
Good working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management,
Programme & Risk Management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost and
value reporting
Knowledge of the NEC contract including the Early Warning and Compensation Event
mechanisms
Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
CSCS managers card
SMSTS
NEBOSH Construction Certificate
Excellent communication, people and team management skills, with the ability to influence,
motivate and mentor
Ability to challenge designs and resolve problems to conclusion
Ability to manage and deliver a successful project with minimal guidance
Problem solving and analytical thinking
Desirable
CEng MICE
Ability to use Primavera P6 software
Knowledge of JCT form of contract
