Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager with SMSTS certification to oversee an ongoing construction project in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing factory or warehouse construction projects and demonstrate a strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and effective project management techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all phases of the construction project from inception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust plans as necessary to ensure project milestones are met.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to ensure effective collaboration and efficient workflow.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and external parties, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
Prepare and present project reports, including financial performance, progress updates, and risk assessments.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and other regulatory requirements.
Implement and maintain effective communication channels within the project team and with external stakeholders.
Requirements:

SMSTS certification (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) is mandatory.
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on factory or warehouse projects.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues proactively.
Full UK driving license and the ability to travel to the project site in Bristol as required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Membership in a professional body such as the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) or the Association for Project Management (APM).
