We are working with a prestigious architectural practice in Northamptonshire that is experiencing continued growth and an influx of exciting new projects. As a result, they are looking to speak with technically skilled Architectural Technologists and Architects who can contribute to their success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detailed Design & Documentation: Lead the detailed design process, producing comprehensive working drawings and coordinating design information.
- Regulatory Compliance: Assist with planning applications and statutory procedures, liaising with authorities such as planning officers and building inspectors to secure approvals.
- Risk & Performance Assessment: Conduct design-stage risk assessments, evaluate building performance in use, and provide maintenance management insights.
- Project Administration: Oversee contract administration, manage project certifications, and ensure seamless project execution from design to completion.
- This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects while playing a pivotal role in technical delivery and project coordination.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or Part 3 qualification
- CIAT membership or ARB registration (depending on role)
- Minimum 5 years experience in practice
- Proficiency in Revit (essential) BIM experience is beneficial but not required
- Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and detailing (essential)
- Experience using NBS
- Thorough experience in RIBA Stage 4 (Technical Design) (essential) experience across Stages 0-7 is advantageous
