SENIOR ENGINEER - RAIL - PERMANENT - NORTH WEST
Senior Engineer currently required to join a leading national contract who will be delivering a number of rail projects in the next 5-7 years. The works largely consist of civil engineering, structures and rail systems, so the ideal candidate will have this background.
Requirement:
- 3 years previous experience of working on railway infrastructure projects
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in civil engineering or construction management
- Current and valid Personal Track Safety (PTS)
- Experience of undertaking site engineering tasks such as setting out, QA, IPT's
The role:
- Oversee the delivery of all site based engineering functions
- Management and coordination of site based works including planning of the scheduled works
- Monitoring all site engineers associated to specific projects
- Undertake routine monitoring on and off-track
- Reporting of any technical queries where required
- Assisting with the development of method statements and work package plans
