An oportunity has become available for a UK based Senior Quantity Surveyor to start work in Saudi Arabia. This role is based aborad working on a high end luxury hotel refurbishment. My cluent has multiple projects coming up and would look to build a team around the successful candidate. RICS accreditation is required for this role.
Job Duties:
- Conducting cost analysis for construction projects
- Preparing tender documents, contracts, budgets, and bills of quantities
- Managing project finances and ensuring financial control throughout the project
- Reviewing and negotiating variations to contracts
- Providing advice on cost-effective solutions and value engineering
- Assessing and minimising risk
- Attending meetings and liaising with clients, contractors, and other professionals
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Chartered Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects
Education:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
Experience:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in high end refurbishment projects
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes
- Excellent numerical and financial management skills
- Good communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Additional certifications in project management or related areas
