Temporary Works Coordinator

Location: Wrexham

Position Type: Full-time, Contract

Start: ASAP

Duration: 12 months +

Job Description:

As a Temporary Works Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of temporary works on our construction sites. You will ensure that all temporary works are planned, designed, implemented, and dismantled safely and efficiently, in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and coordinating all aspects of temporary works activities on the construction site.
  • Ensuring that temporary works designs and installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborating with design teams to review and approve temporary works designs.
  • Providing technical input and guidance to ensure the safety and stability of temporary structures.
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments for temporary works, identifying potential hazards and implementing appropriate control measures.
  • Working closely with project teams to address and mitigate risks associated with temporary works.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all temporary works activities, designs, and approvals.
  • Preparing and reviewing method statements, risk assessments, and other relevant documentation.
  • Facilitating effective communication between project stakeholders, including designers, engineers, and on-site personnel.
  • Conducting regular briefings and toolbox talks related to temporary works safety.
  • Conducting regular inspections of temporary works installations to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Coordinating and participating in audits of temporary works processes and procedures.
  • Providing training and awareness programs for site personnel involved in or affected by temporary works activities.
  • Staying updated on industry developments and disseminate relevant information to the project team.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans for potential incidents related to temporary works.
  • Coordinate with relevant parties to ensure a swift and effective response in case of emergencies.
  • Following the correct channels to immediately report any breach of health and safety
  • Adhering to all ENKA policies and procedures at all times
