Summary:

Our client's Water Modelling team is seeking a Senior Wastewater Network Modeller based in Glasgow. This role involves working with major regulated water companies across the UK & Ireland. You will engage with projects from conception to delivery, driving innovation and excellence in all activities. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects aimed at improving water quality, managing urban pollution, and contributing to environmental commitments.

You will be involved in planning, programming, and coordinating urban drainage projects while ensuring delivery excellence, technical governance, and best practices. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in developing and managing junior modellers, supporting cost estimates, and bid preparation. This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious and innovative team of engineers, contributing to industry-leading projects.

Skills:

  1. Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. Membership in a relevant institution (e.g., ICE, CIWEM).
  3. Experience in leading urban drainage projects.
  4. Technical expertise in urban drainage modelling activities.
  5. Proficiency with InfoWorks ICM.
  6. Experience in managing and developing junior staff.
  7. Strong client service focus.
  8. Excellent team integration and leadership skills.
  9. Ability to support cost estimates and bid preparation.
  10. Commitment to innovation and excellence in project delivery.

Software/Tools:

  • InfoWorks ICM

Certifications & Standards:

  • Membership in industry-relevant institutions (e.g., ICE, CIWEM)
