Projects - Civil Engineering, Concrete Works, RC Frame, Drainage, Utilities, Bridges, Footpaths, Fit outs, Infrastructure
Company: A medium sized engineering contractor who specialise in concrete works and frames.
Duties:
Procurement of materials, plant and labour
Applications of payment
Managing subcontractors / labour
Raising early warnings and managing CEs
Measuring and pricing variations
Managing change
Day to day management of QSs
Completing monthly CVRs
Getting involved with client liaison
The candidate
It is essential that you have a background in engineering contracts and strong negotiation and communication skills
All applicants must be able to work well under pressure / to tight deadlines and you should have an excellent understanding of NEC3 / NEC4 forms of contract
In depth knowledge or different kinds of civil engineering projects
Salary
£55,000 - £75,000 depending on level and experience
